Top of the unmade part of Pump Lane, sometimes known as Back Hill, Well HIll, in 1966. Despite its somewhat rundown appearance, it is still occupied today, 2021.
Anothe view of the same cottage in Pump Lane. Although a bit off the beaten track, the location has excellent views over fields towards London.
Bucks Cross cottages in 1967. The building still stands, behind a lot of trees, on the corner of Bucks Cross Road and Maypole Road.
Another view of Bucks Cross Cottages. After renovation in 1970 the front door was moved round to the right.
The Five Bells in 1966 but little changed 50 years later.
A coal post in Skibbs Lane. These marked the area round London where taxes became due. They were abolished in 1889 but this post remins one km north of the village.
