Beckenham Almshouses next to St. George's church (Nov. 1970)

The milestone on the corner outside the church has now moved across the road to the opposite corner and was retored to legibility in 1976 (Nov. 1970).

The original Beckenham fire station which has had two sucessors, first opposite St. George's and now in Beckenam Road (Nov. 1970).

Set into the  corner wall of the old fire station is the old Beckenham Village Pump. It can still be seen although repainted in in a grey colour (Nov. 1970).
